Hawks’ rushing attack too much for Battery Creek

LowcoSports.com

Battery Creek had no answer for Hanahan’s powerful ground game Friday, as the Dolphins lost 34-0 to veteran coach Art Craig’s Hawks.

Kevon Rivera rushed for 164 yards and four touchdowns and Josh Shaw added 77 yards to lead the Hawks, who rolled up 358 rushing yards.

Hanahan’s defense was able to slow down a Dolphins’ offense that put up big numbers in a 42-7 win over Academic Magnet last week.

Battery Creek (1-1) faces another stiff test Friday, hosting Bishop England.
