Junior Service League of Beaufort announces 2020 grants

/

From staff reports

The Junior Service League of Beaufort has announced its 2020 grants.

COVID-19 affected this year’s announcement. Unable to host its annual Spring fundraiser – Jubilee – where the organization would have formally recognized each organization receiving a 2020 grant award with a presentation and photo opportunity, JSLB instead shared virtual announcement to recognize the 2020 grant recipients.

This year’s grant recipients:

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry – $500

Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) – $826

Friends of Shanklin – $1,100

Good Neighbor Free Medical Clinic of Beaufort – $750

HELP of Beaufort – $1,000

Hopeful Horizons – $1,540

Hilton Head Island Deep Well Project – $850

Women United – United Way of the Lowcountry – $1,000

The Junior Service League of Beaufort is a small group of women who volunteer their time and resources with the goal of supporting and enriching the lives of women, children, and families in their community.
