Car fire endangers home and vehicle

Just past 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19, Burton firefighters responded to a reported vehicle fire on Yarrow Lane in Seabrook. Fire crews arrived on scene to find a vehicle fully involved in flames within 10 feet of another vehicle and within 15 feet of a home.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. No damages were reported to the home or adjacent vehicle.

The Burton Fire District has responded to nine vehicle fires so far in 2025, two of which have occurred this month.
