Firefighter John Gaffney from the Beaufort/Port Royal Fire Department, helps Austin Boyne, 13, don a breathing apparatus while six-year-old little brother Knox waits his turn during the Touch-a-Truck event Saturday, June 15, at Pigeon Point Park in Beaufort. Big fire trucks and Beaufort Police Department cruisers were big hits during the static display as children are allowed to sit in them, run on the lights and fire up the sirens.
