Veteran of the Week – Anthony Pirozzi

Beaufort’s Anthony Pirozzi, 63, joined the United States Marine Corps on Long Island in 1977. After boot camp and Infantry training at Parris Island, he was assigned to Okinawa. His follow-on assignment was at Quantico. He then returned to Beaufort and duty at Parris Island working for the Chief of Staff and Commanding General on the recruiting side of the command. He separated in 1981 and has remained in Beaufort ever since, working in financial services and then for the past 25 years at Stokes Honda.
