The Sands Boat Landing in Port Royal is open again, as of Tuesday, Jan. 28. The boat landing, which is owned by the town of Port Royal but managed by Beaufort County, has been closed since Sept. 27, 20024, when the area was hit and the landing, as well as the Henry Robinson Boardwalk, were damaged by Tropical Storm Helene.
