Carl Wallace, left, Rosanne Chisum and nearly 100 other volunteers formed a human chain to unload 5,000 pumpkins weighing 42,300 pounds Sunday afternoon, Oct. 8 at Carteret Street United Methodist Church. This was the second tractor trailer load to arrive at the church. All proceeds will go help the church’s youth ministry. The pumpkins will be on sale seven days a week until they are gone.
