Holy Trinity names Bullock interim Head of School

From staff reports

The Holy Trinity Classical Christian School Boards of Trustees and Governors named Minnie Bullock as Interim Head of School, replacing Kevin Bolen, in early December.

“I am pleased to announce that the Board of Governors, acting on the recommendation of the Board of Trustees, has appointed Minnie Bullock to be Interim Head of School, effective at the end of the school day on Friday, Dec. 12,” Board of Governors Chair John McCardell communicated. “She will serve for the balance of this school year and until a Head of School shall be chosen.”

Bullock has been associated with Holy Trinity since its early years, first as a member of the Board of Trustees, then serving as a Governor, before joining the staff in 2019. She has served as Director of Operations, Director of Advancement, and has also spent a year teaching in the Grammar School.
“Our family has supported Holy Trinity since before it officially opened its doors in 2012. Other than raising our two sons, serving at Holy Trinity has been the most rewarding work I have ever done,” Bullock said in a news release. “I believe wholeheartedly in classical, Christian education, and I believe wholeheartedly in our founding mission and vision. The Lord is at work in and through Holy Trinity, and I am privileged to serve as Interim Head of School.”

In December, Kevin Bolen offered his resignation to the Board of Trustees of Holy Trinity Classical Christian School, and it was accepted.

In a letter to Holy Trinity families the Board wrote, “The Board of Trustees is grateful to God for His continued provision to our school. We are also grateful to Kevin for his faithful labors, leading our school in a manner that points our students and families to Christ. We hope the words of Romans 8:28 will be a reminder that we can trust God in all situations, including this time. … And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Founded in 2012, Holy Trinity Classical Christian School (HTCCS) provides students with a distinctly classical and distinctively Christian education in Beaufort. Holy Trinity serves students from preschool through 12th grade. For more information or to schedule a tour, visit www.htccs.org.
