Samari Bonds’ 48-yard touchdown run with 6:43 left in the third quarter pulled the Eagles even at 14 as they sought an upset on the road, but the Red Foxes returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown and didn’t look back. Xavier Tobias and Caleb Stephan added rushing touchdowns for Beaufort, which finishes 2-9.

The Dolphins found themselves in a 21-point hole after the first quarter and couldn’t dig out on the road against a top-five team. Derrick Smalls Jr. had a productive night on offense and in the return game, taking a kickoff back for the Dolphins’ lone touchdown, but Battery Creek (3-7) didn’t have enough firepower on offense without injured quarterback Chase Olsen.

Williamsburg Academy 21, Beaufort Academy 0
The Eagles’ defense kept them in it all night against a strong Williamsburg team, but the offense committed two turnovers and couldn’t find the end zone. Micah Balder rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass to lead the Stallions. BA finishes 8-5.
