Beaufort’s Singleton highlights area Park grads
Several area students area among Park University’s Fall 2020 graduates (Dec. 12) from the University’s flagship Parkville (Mo.) Campus, as well as the downtown Kansas City (Mo.), Independence (Mo.) and Lenexa (Kan.) campuses.
Christopher D. Singleton of Beaufort earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Project Management.

Byam graduates from Valdosta State
Andrew Byam of Beaufort has earned the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Mass Media from Valdosta State University in Georgia. Byam was among nearly 900 students who completed their degree requirements during Fall Semester 2020.
Pair from Beaufort on Wheaton Dean’s List
Beaufort’s Sydney Lawrence (29906) and Parker Smith (29902) were named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2020 semester at Wheaton College (Ill.).
To earn Dean’s List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale. Wheaton is a coeducational Christian liberal arts college noted for its rigorous academics, integration of faith and learning, and consistent ranking among the top liberal arts colleges in the country.
Pfeiffer honored at Alabama
Halie Pfeiffer of Okatie (29909) made the Dean’s List at the University of Alabama with an academic record of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the Fall 2020 term
