Continuing the effort

Several dozen protesters line the street in front of Beaufort City Hall on Boundary Street on Monday, June 9, 2025. The protesters, made up of several organized groups and a number of individuals, are speaking out against policies enacted by President Donald Trump’s administration. They rally together every Monday at 4:30 p.m. in front of the Beaufort City Hall at the intersection of Boundary Street and Ribaut Road. On Saturday, June 14 at noon, the groups will gather in the same spot for a peaceful “No Kings Day” in front of Beaufort City Hall. Asa Aarons Smith/The Island News
