The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is investigating a shooting incident that occurred around 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 26, in Burton.
The Communication Center received a call about a gunshot wound at a residence in the neighborhood of Inwood Estates in Burton. When BCSO deputies arrived, they found one male individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The individual was transported to Beaufort Memorial Hospital to receive medical treatment for to his injuries.
This investigation is ongoing.
