Application open for 2026 Lighthouse Scholarship

Application is open for the 2026 Lighthouse Scholarship, sponsored by the Foundation for the Leadership Education’s Lighthouse Scholarship fund.

Graduating high school seniors who display a strong propensity toward leadership as demonstrated through academics, positive character, community involvement, leadership roles and/or extra-curricular activities are encouraged to apply. 

Other requirements for application include:

• You must be a graduating high school senior;

• You must have a 3.0 or greater GPA on the SC Uniform Grading Scale;

• You must score a 21 or greater on the ACT or a 1080 or greater on the SAT;

• You must be a legal U.S. citizen;

• You must be a legal resident of Beaufort County; and

• You must present two letters of recommendation.
