Jesse McManigle, of Beaufort, S.C., assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) as a scout sniper, maintains overwatch aboard the forward-deployed amphibious landing dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) during a Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) exercise Sunday, Feb. 11 in the Philippine Sea. The USS Green Bay, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, along with the 31st MEU, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
