The 16U SC Badkatz took 2nd place in the USSSA Ashlie Pipkin Memorial tournament in Sumter on the weekend of September 12. The team battled back through the loser’s bracket before losing in the ‘if’ game of the championship. The Badkatz had strong bats and solid defense outscoring their opponents 32 – 8 while compiling a 6-3 record for the weekend including three pitchers combining for a no-hitter in one of the wins.
