County business license renewals due May 31 

Businesses that operate in the unincorporated areas of Beaufort County must renew their county business licenses by May 31. Those who pay after the deadline are subject to a penalty of 5 percent of the unpaid fee for each month or portion of the month past the due date. The county mailed renewal forms to license holders in January. For a renewal form, go to www.bcgov.net. For more information, call the Beaufort County Business License Department at 843-255-2270.
