Armed men rob two in Port Royal

Two men were robbed at gunpoint in a Port Royal apartment complex over the weekend.

The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Preserve at Port Royal apartments around 2 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 20. Neither man was injured during the robbery.

According to a report from the Port Royal Police Department, the victims were approached by two men described as a white male approximately 6 feet tall with a beard and a Black male approximately 5 feet, 3 inches tall armed with a handgun. The victims were robbed of their wallets which contained an estimated $450 in cash.rime

The suspects left the parking lot driving what was believed to be a black Ford Explorer with silver rims.
